Saturday

I have a ton of homework to do....... but I'm stalling! My other computer will be dropped off next week at the computer place and I'm hoping that they can recover my files and pictures!  So, I need to re-write a few documents and send to the instructor that I already had done for this class that I'm taking... guess I'll work on it tonight!

It's amazing how much her personality is coming out... she has discovered that I keep Hershey Hugs & Kisses in a school bus on the top shelf for treats for the kids for after we pick up toys... Now, she stands next to the shelf, pointing to the bus while whining for one! I asked her last night what she wanted to take to Grandma's house to play with and she said points up and says, treat!

And then we wonder why she is full of owie's!

Oh how I love her.!!

I think I caught Brooklyn's crud from last weekend, I'm hoping with rest it goes away. Oh well, the kids are enjoying having me not be able to say much today!

Our weekend!

How was your weekend? Our's was productive, which was wonderful minus having a sick little baby!

Friday night, I got my craft closet cleaned out... such a good feeling! Grandpa stopped to see Brooklyn and she wanted to go with him, so he gave in and brought her over to their house for about 30 minutes. See, we are making progress with her!

We headed for Spicer, to finally get the camper winterized. It was pretty scarce looking up there... definately not the usual scene you see when you pull in.

Poor Mike had to crawl under the camper to get the slides cranked in... glad it wasn't me!

EMPTY campground

One last sit on the steps until next spring!

Sunday, we went to church for Welcome to The Parish... I will say one thing. Yes, I know that we should go more often, however, having at least 5 people come up to you and say, welcome back, I haven't seen you for awhile isn't going to make me come every Sunday!

Someone is getting her eye teeth and isn't the most pleasant! Let's hope they pop in fast:)

I discovered www.feastie.com, if you haven't checked it out and love to cook, it's a wonderful website like pinterest, but it's all recipes!

Prayers...

I'm asking for your prayers one of my high school classmates little boy. I've been following it on her mom's blog, but Maria posted this on facebook last night:

"I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to post anything here about our precious little Patrick Joseph. He was born on the 9th via emergency c-section. Due to his placenta separating from the uterine wall, he was on very low to no oxygen for upwards of 20 minutes. They revived him after delivery and he was then sent immediately to the NICU at Providence Memorial here in El Paso. He is receiving wonderful care there, but it is becoming more and more clear that this will be a very long road... a life-long road. Brain damage of some sort or another is pretty much for sure, but details and/or a prognosis will be slow in coming. We still are not able to hold him, but he is BEAUTIFUL and looks like Goliath compared to most of the other babies in there (he was 9 lb 1 oz at birth)!

I just couldn't imagine what they are going through right now... how terrible...

Here's a pinterest inspired project I did this weekend!

73 days!

73 days until Christmas! In case anyone is wondering:) I'm excited for Christmas... it's always been one of my favorite holiday's! And, I think having a child, doubles the excitement!

I think it's going to be a year for baby doll's! I'm really debating on getting Brooklyn a few pieces of American Girl Bitty Baby accessories for Christmas...does she probably need it? NO! But, her mommy LOVED babies as a child and I secretly hope she does too!

I've already started my shopping, how about you??!!

Recipe

We tried this recipe from Pinterest tonight... I think we will make it again. Super easy!

2 loaves of French bread, 1 jar of pizza sauce, whatever toppings your family likes, topped with mozzarella cheese; bake at 500 for 5-6 mins. (I didn't bake it at 500, but 350 for a longer amount of time)
