Busy Week!

What a crazy - busy filled week! AND, it's hard to believe that September is only in a few days. I'm not sure where the summer has went, we have 5 weekends left to camp and then I'm sure it will be busy with farming season after that.

I've been busy preparing and getting things done for Brooklyn's big birthday party this weekend.. It's going to be sooo much fun! I just love to get crafty and this gives me a perfect chance to do so! I will share pictures after the weekend.

Ready for the weekend... just need to add a few more things to the car!

To bitty baby or not?!?!

I'm trying to decide if I want to get Brooklyn a Bitty Baby... oh, the decisions! For Christmas, I plan on getting her the Bitty Twins and have been doing a little shopping on ebay the past few days... it's like Christmas already and it makes me that much more excited for Christmas! Of course, they both had to arrive on the same day and it just so happened to be a day that Mike was in for lunch... I was surprised, he didn't have much to say, just asked me if I was re-living my childhood?! I had to laugh... I said, well, at least it's a daycare expense!

Who knew how fast 2 years would go? It's hard to believe she's almost 2! Pictures went very good, I think we were done within 15 minutes and that included 2 outfits... guess my bribe with some new lip gloss worked pretty well!

Puddies

The "puddies" are a huge highlight around here. I will admit they were a lot cuter when they were small. Brooklyn says that the "puddies stink" and I think she's correct on that!

Camper Projects...

Finally, got mulch put down under the camper! 

And, what a surprise! I've wanted Mike to do this since last year!  It was done when we got to the camper on Friday night, here, I thought he did it during the week... until I looked at our neighbors and they all had to same thing! Come to find out, the owners did it to a few of us seasonal's, because they wanted our fire ring for down in the "ghetto" as a few others refer to the lower part of the campground!

It's always fun to dream, right! Saturday, we had to go pick up a sun shade that will hook into the awning to block the sun a little more. Anyways, since we didn't have anything else to do, we went and checked out a few new campers... Nice! I discovered I love the Aspen Trail campers! But, definitely love our patio door that we have now!

Birthday Decorations

Brooklyn's birthday decorations are coming right along! Wanda found this ice cream cone for me at the recycling shed!

Fence to new bed!

We went to Menards last night because I wanted to get a little fence for the infant/toddlers to keep them in a safe place where they could roam, but yet be contained! So, anyway, I came up with this for now. I need to get 1 more section of it...

Anyway, as we were leaving, I got a wild hair to go to GoodWill.... we wandered through the store, came to the back of it and found this Step2 Castle Bed for $25.00... I see that the new ones are selling for $433.00! Of course, I had to buy it! I guess from reading up on it, you can even put a twin size mattress on it!

Happy Birthday to me!

Looks like my birthday present arrived yesterday afternoon.... Guess turning 30 wasn't too bad after all!! LOL.... Mike traded in the Excursion for an Expedition! Not that I should complain, but there are a few things that I'm not so fond of by going to a smaller vehicle...when the back seats are up, it seems there is hardly any space in the back and I'm guessing fitting 3 car seats across will be a tight fit.... What I love about it: smaller gas tank feels like it's cheaper to fill!, its newer!, love the buttons to move the back seats and the little flip down mirror so I can see what Brooklyn's doing, not to mention the 6 disc CD player.... So, I guess I will live with what I don't like about it and see how it works for awhile.

Guess I can't complain too much!

We decided to set the fish tank back up this week... Brooklyn loves to feed the fish, but, I've limited it to only 2x a day! And check out what happens when she doesn't let mom help her!
