Cardboard Car

Tomorrow at daycare, we are having a drive-in movie theater! I'm so darn excited for this project!... Anyway, each of the kids helped make their car. Here is Brooklyn's:

On Sunday, Mike pulled us in the sled behind the Ranger.... oh what fun, that was! Only next time I better remember to wear snowpants!

Organization... Underway!

Weekend Project was the toy room and craft closet and upstairs! I'm a little OCD about having every thing neat and organized with a label on everything at least for daycare things!... mission accomplished! Now for a super busy week and then to tackle the rest of the house... My secret goal of doing all this spring cleaning early, is then when it's nice out we can focus on the yard and then it will be May and I will consume all my weekends sitting on the deck, chatting with the neighbors, watching Brooklyn play with Hallie, and enjoying a Mike's:-)) Here's to nice SPRING weather! 

Mail

Today was Greg's last day as our mailman, I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing not to have your father-in-law deliver your mail anymore!

Science

We had science day at daycare today!

You can't do science stuff without goggles! You never know it could be dangerous:-) 

We were using pippets filled with liquid watercolor and injecting them into a Knox mold. Well this little girl would dip the pippets into the watercolor and then onto her fingernails... pretty sure she thought it was fingernail polish! 

Milroy's Fire Chief

Wowza, we were young here! 

So, not only is he in charge of Milroy's Civil Defense, we can also add Fire Cheif to his job duties. Yes, it's official news that I guess I could have posted a few weeks ago, Mike is Milroy's newest Fire Chief! He is following in his Dad's footsteps as he was the fire chief for the last ??? years. I wish him well and hope that he can handle this job, as I don't think it could be easy with all the younger kids that want to join because they think it's "cool", without realizing the responsibility that is involved and not to mention the training that needs to be done before you are allowed to actually respond to a fire call. So, I guess we can add another meeting night to his list as he has to go to all the city council meetings now!

Anniversary #9

Can't believe we've been married for 9 years today! Wowza, that seems like such a long time, but yet, it really doesn't! I can't wait to see where the next 50 years leads us!

My friend Sonia who owns her own hair salon came over this morning to do the daycare kiddos hair, nails and makeup... What a fun time! I think it may be one of Brooklyn's future birthday parties!
