Deck Building

Thanks to my dad for coming up to help us complete the bottom of the deck at the camper this weekend. Thankfully the rain held off most of the day so it could be completed, in fact, it started to rain again just as the last deck board was being screwed down!

Flowers

We brought flowers out to the cemetery tonight. It about melted my heart to see Brooklyn reach for Scott's picture as if she knew who he really was! I am now convinced that all the times she was smiling as a baby in her sleep that he must be talking to her! I sure wonder where our lives would be today if he were still with us. I know he would be a fabulous Uncle to her!

Owl

Visiting Grandma

We went to visit Grandma last night... here's a few pictures!

We now have a fast little girl in the house, she can go from room to room in seconds! She has also started to pull herself up to furniture in no time at all!

Just...

Just when I say she doesn't have any teeth yet, one popped thru on Friday! We had a fun-filled weekend at the lake, explored the playground and got a few things done in the camper! After checking the weather forecast, we came home Saturday late afternoon and decided against staying up there for what was supposed to be severe weather and tornado's!

8 months old

Miss Brooklyn is 8 months old already, crazy how fast times flies! She is crawling all over, pulling herself up to low things, loving table food, not so crazy about baby food anymore, can't get enough Ranger rides with Daddy, still is a Mama's girl and has yet to get any teeth!

We survived our first night of camping, unfortunatley it was a quick trip, hopefully next weekend we can stay for the whole weekend!

Project

Here's how the kids' Mother's Day gifts turned out. This was more of a "me" project! Now to make one for myself!

What a busy week last week and a busy weekend! Thankfully we were able to get the camper up to the lake on Saturday, Mike worked on leveling it in the rain, while Brooklyn played and I worked on putting some things away and making a list of the stuff we still need to purchase. Although, it was raining so we didn't get a chance to talk to our "neighbors" but it looks like they have a little girl about a year or so, hopefully her and Brooklyn will become buds!
