Chocolate!

Yesterday, we celebrated a birthday at daycare and the little boy brought treat bags for everyone and it was filled with chocolate! Well, who would think a few m&m's could make such a mess!

Indoor Playground

Today, we took a field trip to the Indoor Playground at the Redwood Area Community Center... very awesome! I think about age 2-6 would be perfect. Brooklyn and Levi were a little too little to really enjoy it, but the other kids sure did!

Halloween Costume

Guess what arrived today?!!! Brooklyn's Halloween costume! Of course, we had to try it on right away... what do you think?

Glasses

After many, many years of not having glasses, I have them again. (I tried to look for a picture of me in my nice pink plastic glasses from about 2nd grade! But couldn't find it quick!) Mike thinks they look like 80 year old librarian glasses... well, I like them anyway!

We took a visit to the fire hall last night, to take a few pictures for Grandpa..... Brooklyn loved it!

Daycare

New calendar and weather frog

OK! This I LOVE:) Instead of writing every ones birth dates on the calendar and took their picture with them holding the date of their birth date and then placed them on the chart. Brilliant:)

I wanted something that they can move each day, so everyday when they come, they can place their picture on the owl so we can see whoooo is here!

Numbers and alphabet and we will use the alphabet also for our word wall

Crazy Hair

To celebrate the end of "summer" and school starting... we had crazy hair in the afternoon at daycare yesterday. Even did Brooklyn's! (I was a little mad, that they don't sell this at Wal-Mart anymore, thankfully I had 2 bottles left)

Garage Sale!

I hit up a garage sale today on the lake... JACKPOT!!! Most everything was .50, a lot was Gymboree or Old Navy:-) Happy Dance!

1 year pictures

We had one year pictures last night with the fabulous Crystal Smith Photography! I seriously can't wait to see the proofs... she does an amazing job and is excellent with kids.

Thursday!

Pinata at daycare today to celebrate the last day of summer before school starts. Brooklyn had her turn at trying to open it!

Jeep

Brooklyn loves to have a ride in the Barbie Jeep... the daycare kids each take a turn driving and she's content riding... well, for the most part! A few times, she's broke out of her seat belt and thought she should stand up!

Water Paint

I let Brooklyn waterpaint with the kids, I think I'm crazy! But, she had fun... I will have to look and see if they still make those paint by water books, as they work great for the little kids.

Books...

Yesterday, I spend a good chunk of time organzinging my books. I think I've been belonging to too many other blogs or facebook sites and see all these nice and organized rooms! So, I tackled the daycare book shelf. I ran out of room on this shelf, so had to move a few others to another area! Too many books, as I just placed a Scholastic order:)

Halloween costume...

So, I've been thinking about Brooklyn's Halloween costume... yes, I know! Crazy right!!!!! But, at the campground, they usually have trick-or-treating on Labor Day...so that's the reason I'm on the search early.  I found this one on Pottery Barn for Kids... looks adorable, right! .. I will have to look a little more or maybe search for a pattern and make (or help!) Miss B a costume, just like my mom did for me every year!

Hospital visit

Poor Aylah had to stay over night in the hospital last night due to terrible wheezing. We went to visit her and brought her a bag full of goodies to keep her busy, as I know how long and boring it can be to sit in there!

Ramsey Park

We went to Ramsey Park today... it was beautiful walking the trails. The leaves were falling and you would have thought it was fall-- minus the hot weather!

I found these tablets last night at the store, to color bath water! Pretty neat! Of course, we had to try it last night... probably will be a neat thing when Miss B is a little older!
