I don't know about the rest of you, but I have the worst time figuring out my Christmas cards! Seriously, it was chilly yesterday when I attempted to take a few pictures but I think we got one that will work!

Then we get home, I went to upload the pictures to the computer and it was awfully quiet, so I went to check and sure enough she was fast asleep!

HAIR!

We went to Sonia's and I got my hair done last night! What a nice feeling! Plus... it's cut, so I actually did something with it this morning and not just throw it up in a pony... double bonus! Brooklyn was so excited to go to Sonia's last night to get her "hair cut"... she wouldn't stay home with Mike, she said, "no I leave!", So she came along and Sonia put a few foils in her hair and stuck her under the dryer and she was so excited!

We had gymnastics again last night... I just love watching how much she is improving! It's so fun to see... she was walking on the high balance beam and asked Chelsea if she could do a somersault, I think we about both fell over!

Finally got a picture of Brooklyn in the leaves! Who wants to rake all those leaves anyway?!!! I was secretly hoping the snow would have stayed around so I wouldn't have to do that job this year!

Gymnastics!

What a proud mommy I was last night! Brooklyn did such a great job! It's was so fun to see how far she's came since the last session of gymnastics.... even both of the coaches said the same thing! We can do an actual somersault! No 1/2 flopping over like last time and she can almost walk on the little beam by herself and she even did the big one 2x with a somersault on it! With only 3 kiddos in her class, there is a lot of 1/1 attention:)

On a side note! LOVE Wal-Marts My Life line for dolls... we found a backpack last night!

Advent calendar

After searching pinterest for an idea for an advent calendar for Brooklyn, I finally gave in and created my own after only 1-failed attempt! (Note to self: before mod-podging paper to the back of a cookie sheet, make sure the magnets will stick first to the cookie sheet!) Oh well, I think this turned out pretty good after all... we just have a smidge of glitter all over the house! I found the printable advent calendar here and then added to glitter paper and finally to white cardstock and then laminated for durability. I took a board that I had in the closet leftover from another project and we use modge-podge to keep the paper on the board and also so glitter wouldn't be all over! Once, that dried, we added 3M hooks to the bottom; glued on the ribbons to each card and then added the finishing touches. It's just about done, I just need to add a hook to hang it up on the back, but I do have a few weeks before we actually need to use this!

First Snow Fall!

Tuesday, we received our first snow fall for the winter season! It was so pretty! But, not so much fun to drive in! Probably should have stayed home from gymnastics, but didn't!
